Michael Phelps Smoking Weed

You decide if this is Michael Phelps or not. It is definetely something to look into. Please review this response from the Phelps camp.

His statement says:

“I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment. I'm 23 years old and despite the successes I've had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again.”

The British tabloid obtained a photo of Phelps smoking a bong, a water pipe usually used for smoking weed. Check out their amusing headline: What a DOPE!

The photo was allegedly taken at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where Phelps was reportedly visiting a girlfriend.
